I met Michela quite a few years ago and started to build a friendship through documenting her family photos and other milestone's in her life. When Ben proposed, Michela facetimed me with the exciting news. I was SOO honored that she chose me to photograph one of the most important days of her life. I have really gotten to know Michela over the years and I cannot tell you enough how much she radiates love and joy for those around her.

On August 13, 2022 Michela and Ben tied the knot at The Historic Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in downtown Albany, NY. The church was built in the mid 1800s and WOW is the architecture rich with beauty.

After the ceremony we went to the iconic Egg Plaza, which carried sentimental meaning to Michela. Michela grew up doing ballet performances at the Egg and it was absolutely amazing to see the full circle of memories and meaning carried out with their wedding portraits.

Lastly the reception was held at The Franklin Plaza Ballroom in downtown Troy, and ended with a rooftop afterparty and a sparkler send off.

It was a magical day filled with so many raw moments and emotions and you can really feel the love that Ben and Michela have for one another.

I also want to give a special shoutout to Liz of Diewald Photographer’s for second shooting for me and being the best partner a girl could ask for. Some of her pictures are also featured in the blog, primarily Ben’s getting ready photos and a few portraits of the bride and groom.

So many incredible vendors were involved with making Michela and Ben’s day so special, which I’ll list their instagram handles below for all those future brides and grooms out there. 10/10 I would highly recommend all of them!
