A Desert Dream Proposal

In the beginning of the year, I got an exciting message on instagram. Harley had a grand plan to ask Hannah to marry him. He threw out ideas like hiking in southern Utah and proposing at the top of a gorgeous canyon overlook. Instantly I was on board. Literally every adventure photographer’s DREAM. Harley said they were traveling out west for a little getaway, but he wanted to make it one to remember.

We hopped on the phone a couple times to plan everything out. We had even planned out some signals on how to secretly communicate when we were all up at the top of the overlook and it was time to propose.

The day had finally come. I hiked up about 30min earlier than Harley and Hannah had planned to be there. I scoped out the place and waited anxiously for the most dreamy proposal to take place. Finally I saw that Harley and Hannah had made it to the top!

The signal was for me to take a picture of my husband in the spot I had picked out for the proposal.. IT WAS HAPPENING. Harley brought Hannah over and just like that he gotten down on one knee and asked Hannah the most anticipated question. SHE SAID YES, sealing their commitment amidst nature’s grandeur. They were both overwhelmed with joy and there may have even been a sprinkling of happy tears.

The stunning vista witnessed their love story's newest chapter, forever etching this breathtaking moment in their hearts… and of course I was honored to capture it all.
